Motto "Hope for a Better Life"Hi, John (Geordie) here, born in the sub district of Victoria, Newcastle upon Tyne, lived here for 19 years, was bored so I decided to join the Army, returning to my native North east in 1997. One of my aims is to develop my skills as a novice web designer using the latest software. I like to travel, my hobbies are digital imaging, keeping fit and liaising with not so old ex forces friends. I'm in regular contact with friends & former colleagues, exchanging banter, having online discussions and swapping photographs, great fun. Please note there is some colourful language used on this site, but full words have been disguised, well, just a bit!. Most of what is published here is how I felt & thought at that time. There's so much more I'd like to publish, I have just found a new web hosting site (Magix), so I'll be creating more web pages with full size photographs, max capacity is 2 Gigabytes, so plenty of space. also see "Ancient Squippers" / "RAF Hullavington" on these Facebook Groups.

As I build up this site, I will be displaying linked pages about myself, work, family, hobbies, life in the army and a gallery of my many photographs, keeps me occupied and out of trouble I suppose. I am very grateful for the photographs supplied by Tony "Cyril" Dandy, John Edwards, Roy Topham, Brian Cramp, Simon "Doc" Doherty, Terry Thomas (Ex RAF Lad) and Harvey (www.Paradata.org.uk) very much appreciated. Please use the Menu Bar above to navigate this site, best to Disable Compatability View, passing the cursor over the Yellow Hyperlinks will display a brief description, change the image (Rollover) like the Coat of Arms above left, or, move to another page / site. I've double checked / verified the links all work!!. Recent Photo's supplied by Tex Roberts, Brian McKay & Des Sweeney.
